NATIONAL “GET TO KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS” DAY IS COMING UP ON OCTOBER 15TH. HERE ARE 5 WAYS YOU CAN GET TO KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS NOW IN A REAL, ORGANIC WAY. MARRY THE DATA TO SOMETHING REAL RIGHT FROM YOUR TRIBE!

Ready? Let’s get started and get knowing!

  1. Ask questions on social media. One of the easiest ways to quickly learn more about your tribe, customers, and followers is to engage and ask questions on social. Social platforms are made for honest engagement like this. Try Instagram polls, questions in your captions, or question CTA’s as a close to your videos. > Download my swipe file of questions to ask on social at BrittBrewer.com.
  2. Ask after purchase. When someone makes a purchase on your site, you’re probably going to email them, right? Include a question here. Make it super simple, and ask them to hit “reply.” Then, make sure you say, “thanks!”
  3. In a newsletter. If you’re talking about a hot topic all week or just have fun vacation plans that you’re sharing, ask the same of your subscribers. Get them to share just as much as you are!
  4. At the end of blog posts. This feels like an age-old one, but hey, it still works as a valued CTA and close while the topic is top-of-mind.
  5. Create a survey. The most common way to get to know your customers is to survey then. Create a survey (I use Typeform!). Then, share it on your social channels, the bottom of all emails, on your website, and in your Instagram links. (Check out my survey here.)

Give it a try!

Now tell me, what’s your favorite way to learn about your tribe?
